The fine print
Privacy policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This website (theorymadefun.com) promotes Theory Made Fun's live music theory classes. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand how the site is used and whether our advertising works. We never sell your information.
What we collect
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4). Pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize repeat visits. This data is aggregated — it doesn't identify you personally.
- Advertising measurement (Google Ads). If you arrive by clicking one of our ads, Google sets a cookie so we can tell that the ad led to a visit or a sign-up click. This helps us spend our small advertising budget wisely.
- Interaction events. We count clicks on our sign-up and email buttons so we know which parts of the site are working.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal information with anyone other than the Google services described above.
- We don't collect names, payment details, or account credentials on this site. Registration happens on a separate Google Form, and email goes straight to our inbox.
- We don't run third-party ad networks, social media pixels, or trackers beyond Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site works fully without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the GA opt-out browser add-on.
- Manage ad personalization at Google's My Ad Center.
- Read how Google uses data from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
